iBOB List Guidelines Reminder

1. Each member is limited to an average of two posts to the list per
day.  Think twice, post once -- Make your message useful to everyone
else.  When you have comments but nothing to contribute to the whole
group, take it to private email.  Don't do "Me too" or "That's great!"
posts.

2. Trim quoted content when replying to any message.  You should have
much more new, interesting content in your post than quotes -- if not,
take it to private email.

3. Off-topic posts are occasionally allowed, but keep them in-line
with the list's character.  The subject line must start with "OT:".
All responses must be sent as private email to the original poster.

4. Don't join iBOB just to sell stuff (private nor commercial).  If
you do post anything for sale, clearly state your price.  No "how much
is this worth?" or "testing the waters" posting -- use Ebay or Google
for that research.

5. Avoid needlessly offensive or abusive language.  Inflammatory
personal comments are not tolerated, and will result in your removal
from the group.

6. Check the list archives before asking common questions.  Search
both http://search.bikelist.org and
http://groups.google.com/group/internet-bob/topics

7. Anonymity on this list is discouraged.  We are a friendly group
with a high degree of trust among members.  To that end, please sign
your posts with your real name and location, e.g.  
  John Doe 
  Scranton,PA  USA
